I built my first 3x3 redstone door just a couple days ago for my dad, brother and i's survival base! It's amazing building such a cool door for such a pretty base.

what music maker do you use to make the songs

My first 4x4 door was a mess as well, it even involved fence gates and iron doors on observers, pistons moving 3x more than they should, loud af, etc. After a couple of optimizations I got it down to observers only, hoppers and droppers. You did really well for a first 3x3! With your expertise, I imagine that within a couple of hours you'd already have such a compact design you could even extend it up to a 30x30 door or something haha

The tiny piston extender works because it's being quasi'd by the block, and the movement of the piston triggers a block update :) 12:39
